Until we can go back to living our best lives, and exploring the hidden gems around the world, most of us are being
forced to self-isolate, practice social distancing, and work from home. And when you work on your own, it’s hard not
to feel alone.

What lies ahead is unpredictable, but what is certain is working from home is the new norm, so we may as well
embrace it.

But don’t worry, we are here to help you navigate this new terrain! Here are our top tips below:

1/ Set up your work space

Find an area in your home that would be conductive to working. Make sure it is tidy, comfortable, cosy, and (if
possible) close to a window to get some natural night!

Crafting a healthy “work” environment at home can help you and your work reach new heights. Most all, make
sure it is ergonomical and there are minimal distractions so you can stay focused.

2/ Have a schedule and routine

Wake up early (or at least on time!), take a shower, eat breakfast and pour yourself a cup of coffee or tea.
This prepares your mind and body for a productive day ahead.

Consider replacing your morning commute with a walk to a nearby park, or even just stretch at home, before sitting down to work.

3/ Take a few breaks

Balance is key as you don’t want to burn out!

Give yourself some time off your laptop and/or phone by getting up and
moving around.

Read a book, make yourself a hot cuppa and treat yourself to a naughty snack... donuts are our fav!

4/ Have a To-Do List

Update your To-Do List every morning.

Track what you have to do throughout your workday, otherwise it’s too easy to lose sight of priorities, tasks, and
deadlines.

Set goals and time limits for each task. After you complete each task, cross it off the list.

5/ Practice gratitude

Although it will take some getting used to, WFH can be rewarding and productive.

Take a few minutes each day to focus on what you are grateful for, no matter how small.

Practicing gratitude creates positive emotions like joy, love, and contentment which has proven to suppress negative
emotions such as fear and anxiety.

Don't stop being the #girlboss that you are.
