INTRODUCING CHERRIE LYNN
Traveller, Foodie and Magnet Collector.
We chatted with Bay Area based nomad and creative Cherrie Lynn Almonte to learn more about her travels around the world with her photographer husband - the magic they create together never fails to give us some serious wanderlust!
1/ Tell us a bit about yourself…
I was born and raised in the Philippines and moved to the US ten years ago. I love to travel, eat, and collect magnets.
2/ How did you start your travels?
I've always wanted to travel but growing up in a conservative family, I was always told that I can do it once I finished school. And so I did just that. After I graduated, they never saw me in one place again.
3/ Your dream destination to go?
It's not just one place - I want to see all the wonders of the world.
4/ How did you and your husband John get into travelling and photography?
I've always been into travelling and photography. My mom got me a DSLR for my 21st birthday and I have been using it since then. When John and I met, we found that this is something that we both like.
5/ Behind the beautiful IG photos, what is the most difficult or least glamorous thing about constantly being on the road?
Having to wake up super early to beat the crowd.
Summer Rain Maxi Dress
6/ Do you and your husband pick what places to go and what kind of content to create? Do you guys have many of creative differences?
We do have a lot of differences when it comes to photography styles but he's very good at capturing my vision. We don't usually talk about what kind of content we want to make. It really depends on what the situation is when we get to a place.
7/ Where do you go to find inspiration or look for recommendations when going to a new place?
Usually Pinterest and Instagram. Then I read blogs to learn more.
8/ What is your favourite Black Coral piece(s)?
My favorite is my Summer Rain Maxi Dress!
9/ What are your future goals with your blog and social media platforms?
I just want to continue traveling and creating content for as long as I can.
10/ And lastly, what’s next for you?
We're putting up a resort business in the Philippines right now and we want to focus on that!

Lots of Love, xoxo
